These terms govern your use of KARPIAS ("the Service"), operated by KARPIAS, CVR 51085558, Copenhagen, Denmark ("we", "us").
KARPIAS is a SaaS platform for measuring management quality through internal and external surveys. We provide the platform; you provide the content and context.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be 18 or older to use the Service.
You may not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates our Acceptable Use Policy.
Survey responses collected through your account are anonymous. You own your data. We process it only to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy and DPA for details.
We aim for high availability but make no uptime guarantee on free accounts. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice.
Free accounts are free indefinitely within plan limits. Paid plans are billed monthly. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.
KARPIAS, the KARPIAS Score methodology, and all platform content are owned by KARPIAS. You retain ownership of your organisation's data.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Copenhagen City Court.
We may update these terms. Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

KARPIAS, CVR 51085558, Copenhagen, Denmark is the data controller for personal data processed through KARPIAS.
Account data: Name, email address, and organisation name when you register.
Survey responses: Fully anonymous. No name, email, or identifier is collected from survey respondents.
Usage data: Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) retained for 30 days.
Contact form: Name, email, and message when you contact us via karpias.com. Processed by Formspree.
To provide and improve the Service, to communicate with you about your account, and to respond to enquiries. We do not sell data. We do not use data for advertising.
We use the following sub-processors: Supabase (database and authentication, EU region), Vercel (hosting, EU region), Formspree (contact form). Each is bound by a data processing agreement.
Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion. Survey response data is retained for the duration of your account.
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data. Contact us at info@karpias.com to exercise any right. You may also lodge a complaint with Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk).

This Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") supplements the Terms of Service and applies where you use KARPIAS to process personal data on behalf of your organisation.
You are the data controller. KARPIAS (CVR 51085558) is the data processor.
Anonymous survey responses and, where provided, account-level metadata necessary to operate the Service. Survey responses contain no personal identifiers.
We process data only on your documented instructions — primarily, to provide the Service as described in the Terms of Service.
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews.
We use Supabase (database, EU region) and Vercel (hosting, EU region) as sub-processors. We will notify you of material changes to sub-processors.
We will assist you in responding to data subject requests to the extent technically possible given the anonymous nature of survey data.
Upon termination of your account we will delete your data within 30 days.
This DPA is governed by Danish law and incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (controller-to-processor) where applicable.

KARPIAS.com uses only essential cookies. No tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies are used.
A session cookie may be set by our contact form provider (Formspree) to prevent spam. This cookie is strictly necessary for the contact form to function and does not track you across sites.
No consent is required for essential cookies under EU law (ePrivacy Directive, Article 5(3)).
The application uses an authentication session cookie to keep you logged in. This is essential to the operation of the Service.
If we introduce non-essential cookies in future we will update this policy and implement a consent mechanism before doing so.

You may not use KARPIAS to:
— Collect personal data from survey respondents without their knowledge
— Harass, discriminate against, or harm any individual
— Distribute spam or unsolicited communications
— Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or account
— Violate any applicable law or regulation
— Misrepresent your organisation or affiliation
Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension of your account without refund.
